FAQ
More questions about our thinking?
Does arad host events?
Yes. Alongside its online webinars, arad organises in-person events, such as the evening in December 2025 where it presented its six predictions for digital business in 2026. Past and upcoming events are listed on the Insights page, and new dates are announced on arad's LinkedIn page.
Does arad participate in physical events?
Yes. arad speaks at Italian and European industry conferences and roundtables rather than attending passively, choosing those where the topic is one it works on, from AI and agentic commerce to omnichannel and marketplaces. Upcoming appearances are announced on arad's LinkedIn page.
Does arad run webinars with partners?
Yes. Several of arad's webinars are run with partners: 'L'elefante nella stanza', in June 2026, on what AI and automation adoption means for knowledge, people and organisations, with MIDA, and the AI commerce webinar with Bruce Clay Europe, on what changes when an AI makes the choice and the purchase. arad also speaks at sessions organised by partners. Recordings are published on LinkedIn and linked from the Insights page.
Can I watch arad content on video?
Yes. arad's webinars and talks are recorded and published on LinkedIn, and each card on the Insights page links to its recording, on topics from agentic and AI commerce to AI adoption, omnichannel sales, in-store mobile apps and marketplaces. New sessions are announced on arad's LinkedIn page.
What was arad's webinar on marketplaces and emerging markets about?
It presented arad's paper on marketplace expansion for fashion, written by Francesca Soprana and Vasile Chitoroaga. Starting from the fact that marketplaces account for around 86% of global e-commerce, the paper maps the e-fashion channels that count in the main countries, identifies the emerging marketplaces worth covering and proposes a marketplace-first expansion framework. Its conclusion: marketplaces sit alongside the .com, chosen country by country.
Who writes arad's published analysis?
arad's own partners and experts, the people who work on client projects, rather than a separate research team. The predictions for 2026 come from what arad's experts see inside projects, and the paper on marketplace expansion for fashion was written by Managing Partner Francesca Soprana and Senior Expert Vasile Chitoroaga.
Which consumer sectors are catching up with fashion on digital maturity?
Beauty, sport and outdoor, home and design, food and beverage, eyewear, retail and hospitality are meeting many of the challenges fashion met first: omnichannel, product data, marketplaces and the relationship between store and digital channel. That is why experience built in fashion and luxury transfers to them with limited adaptation.
What is the talent gap in digital commerce?
Companies struggle to find people with direct operating experience of order management, product information, customer data platforms and e-commerce platforms. The scarcity is in hands-on operators rather than in strategists, which is why organisation design and temporary management sit alongside arad's advisory work, in services such as Org & Processes Evolution and Retail / Wholesale.
What does arad publish?
arad shares its point of view through webinars, talks and events on AI, commerce and omnichannel for consumer brands, all listed on the Insights page with their recordings. It also writes a newsletter, one topic per issue, and posts on its LinkedIn page. Two pieces have a written version on the site: the six predictions for 2026 and the webinar on marketplaces and emerging markets.
What are arad's predictions for 2026?
arad's six predictions for digital business in 2026 are the GenAI hangover, AI discovery, the shift from bidding for attention to earning AI trust, agentic browsers, AI as the operating system, and Amazon as an autonomous commerce platform. arad presented them at an in-person evening in December 2025, drawing on what its experts see inside projects rather than on market research.
Does arad run webinars?
Yes. arad runs online webinars, in Italian, on agentic commerce, AI commerce, AI adoption in organisations, omnichannel sales, in-store mobile apps, marketplaces and shipping to the US. Every session is listed on the Insights page, and the next one is announced on arad's LinkedIn page.
Can I receive arad insights by email?
