Goal
Move production and ingredient replenishment from manual planning to forecasts, in a business driven by weather and seasonality, to cut overproduction and waste, avoid stock-outs on popular flavours and size shop staff to real volumes.
Approach
We built import flows from the shops' till and weighing systems, reconciled product names that differed across sources, added weather and holiday data, and exposed daily per-shop forecasts by product, in aggregate and in kilos via API.
Results
The forecasting flow works end to end and covers owned and franchised shops alike, feeding the partner's replenishment logic; models are being fine-tuned shop by shop, targeting less waste, fewer stock-outs and better staffing.
