Does arad help implement an order management system (OMS)?
Yes. OMS and omnistock are core enablers of arad's Omnichannel Services & Integrations: requirements from customer journeys and store services, selection, systems integration and the change management that drives adoption. For a global luxury fashion group, arad led the programme that included a Manhattan OMS implementation and omnichannel stock integration across four brands.
What is the Omnichannel Services & Integrations service?
Omnichannel Services & Integrations covers the services that connect channels, such as click and collect, ship from store, endless aisle, returns across channels and unified inventory, together with the process and system integrations that make them work reliably.
What is omnistock and why does it matter?
Omnistock means treating stock held in stores, warehouses and partner locations as one pool that every channel can sell from. It is what lets a brand promise ship-from-store, click and collect or an endless aisle without overselling. It usually requires an order management system and a rethink of how availability is calculated, not only a new interface.
Do we need an OMS to offer click and collect or ship from store?
In most cases yes, or something that does its job. Omnichannel services need one place that knows where stock sits, decides which location fulfils an order and keeps every channel in sync. arad covers the enabler layer, from omnistock and OMS to systems integration, as part of designing the services themselves.
Why do omnichannel services fail even when the technology works?
Usually because nobody is rewarded for using them. If a store's targets still count only what it sells over its own counter, ship-from-store is extra work with no credit. arad treats omnichannel targets and incentive models as part of the design, alongside change management, so adoption is built in rather than hoped for.
